Opened in 1934, The Galley remains Santa Monica’s oldest restaurant & bar and a beautifully preserved California landmark. The Galley will satisfy your every culinary desire while you dine in the warm, candle-lit ambiance and enjoy the entertaining charm of Captain Ron. The seafaring interior includes small portholes for windows, a captain's wheel, the popular South Seas Bar and an outdoor patio decorated with fishing net and sea shells.

Captain Ron gives customers a wide variety of menu choices including eight selections of mouth-watering Steaks, perfectly-prepared Chicken, Seafood, Pastas and Vegetarian dishes. Highlighted menu favorites include the East Coast Little Neck Clams, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Lobster Tacos and Filet Mignon Chili as well as the Galley Salads with famed “secret recipe” salad dressing.

The South Seas Bar is the perfect place for a late night drink and the large outdoor patio is one of Santa Monica’s best kept secrets for outdoor dining, cocktails and private events. A fantastic happy hour menu is available daily from 5:00-6:30pm.
